🔒 The short version. Voio's keyboard correction runs 100% locally on your computer — your keystrokes are never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere. When you use voice dictation, audio is sent to a third-party AI provider for transcription and is not retained. We collect only what we need to run your account.

Voio is an AI-powered productivity tool with two core features:
Voice Dictation — Voio listens to your voice and transcribes spoken words directly into any application on your computer in real time, in Hebrew or English.
Keyboard Language Correction — Voio monitors your keystrokes at the operating system level to detect when you are typing in the wrong keyboard language, and automatically corrects the text.

3a. Keyboard Correction — Fully Local. Voio's keyboard correction processes keystroke data in real time, entirely on your device. This processing is ephemeral — keystrokes are used to detect language mismatches and then immediately discarded. No keystroke data is ever written to disk or transmitted.
3b. Voice Dictation — Cloud Processing. When you use Voio's voice dictation feature, audio is temporarily transmitted to a third-party AI speech provider for transcription. The audio is processed transiently — it is not stored by the provider after the transcription request is completed. This transmission is covered by our data processing agreements.
Enabling Privacy Mode in the app settings disables LLM-based post-processing and limits cloud interaction to the minimum required for transcription.

We use this to authenticate you, manage your subscription, and communicate with you about your account.
To help us understand how Voio is used and improve it for everyone, Voio collects minimal, anonymous usage statistics. This is on by default, plainly disclosed during onboarding, and you can turn it off in one click.

We do not collect any text content you typed or dictated, which applications you used, or any personally identifiable information.
You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Privacy → "Help improve Voio."
This is worth repeating explicitly because Voio uses the same Windows API (WH_KEYBOARD_LL) that keyloggers use:
Voio is not a keylogger. A keylogger records what you type and sends it somewhere. Voio reads your keystrokes locally, in memory, solely to detect language mismatches — and immediately discards that data after processing. Nothing is recorded. Nothing is sent.
We understand that granting any application access to keystrokes requires significant trust. We have built Voio's keyboard correction to be architecturally incapable of transmitting what you type.

If you received a link to Voio as a user of Passportogo services, please note that Voio is a product of Passportogo Ltd. Your relationship with Passportogo Ltd is governed by Passportogo's Terms and Conditions. Voio operates as a separate product under the same legal entity.
Voio is not directed at individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from users under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, contact us at vika@tryvoio.app and we will delete it promptly.
Keyboard correction data never leaves your device, so the primary security concern is local device access. We recommend standard device security practices.
Account data and optional analytics are stored on Supabase servers in the EU (Ireland region) and transmitted over HTTPS with industry-standard encryption.
All users: You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing vika@tryvoio.app. Because Voio processes minimal personal data by design, most requests involve only your account credentials.
Israeli users: Your rights are governed by Israel's Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981.
EU/EEA users: You have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and data portability. Contact vika@tryvoio.app. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Data deletion requests are fulfilled within 90 days.
We will notify you of material changes through the Voio application or via the email address associated with your account. Changes take effect 14 days after notification. Continued use of Voio after that period constitutes acceptance.
This Privacy Policy is published in both Hebrew and English. In case of any conflict or ambiguity between the Hebrew and the English versions, the Hebrew version governs.
